Kavita Das Gupta is a Masters in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics. She has worked with Earthcare Films between 1999-2005 and has made several independent films. Cinema is her first love. A foundation in Sociology gives her, somewhat, the knowledge and skill of looking at societies and social issues. She is currently working in partnership with communities, exploring the boundaries of technology to create a new language of film.
